whole wheat breads and pastas, high fiber cereals, lean meats, oatmeal. LOTS of vegetables, fruits, cottage cheese, yogurt, low fat milk, almonds/walnuts.
lower sodium intake
drink more water
limit fruit juices
eliminate sodas
