Workout diet?

I’m 17 5′9″ and about 150Lbs. I haven’t worked out in a long time but I am about to start a new routine and I want to start eating healthy.Currently my diet is HORRIBLE and I have no idea what I really should be eating to go with my workout.
I’m not really interested in losing any weight, just toning up and being healthier overall.
So what kind of foods should I be eating?

    whole wheat breads and pastas, high fiber cereals, lean meats, oatmeal. LOTS of vegetables, fruits, cottage cheese, yogurt, low fat milk, almonds/walnuts.

    lower sodium intake

    drink more water

    limit fruit juices

    eliminate sodas
