Should I take protein shakes and green tea diet pills at the same time?

l_romanmd asked:

I am trying to loose so fat from my stomach area and the gree tea pills seem to be working good along with abs exercise, at the same time I want to gain body muscle in the arms area, chest and leg… so can I take protein shakes and green tie diet pills at the same time or any other suggestions on how I can achieve both goals (abs / muscle) at the same time.

The green tea does nothing, it’s your exercise that’s working. You don’t gain muscle and lose weight at the same time except by cardio w/ weight training at the same time.

Well I can’t agree with the accountant, I’m sorry. However if you were a green tea researcher that had published your results, yes I would agree.

Take a look at this site and you will see that there is much research evidence against your point of view.

Green tea is know to increase the basal metabolic rate, increase fat burning and suppress appetite (at least in mice). I don’t own a green tea company and not trying to promote it.

To answer the original question, I’d rather stick to the green tea which is natural rather than the protein shakes. And if possible, I’d drink actual green tea than just take pills. Yes exercise probably has something to do with your losing weight, but green tea would enhance that effect because it increases your BMR. So if you had exercised without the tea, my guess is that your weight loss will be slower
